Yes. 165 Hz sits comfortably within the range every phone speaker is built to reproduce, and each playback lasts only a few seconds. Apple relies on the same sound-based approach in the Water Lock feature of the Apple Watch.
How many times should I play the cleaning sound?
Two or three rounds are usually enough. Hold the device with the speaker facing down, play the tone at full volume, wipe away the droplets that appear, and repeat until the audio sounds clear.

What if the speaker still sounds muffled afterwards?
